Cook noodles following directions; drain and spoon into a greased 8x11 pan. Brown meat with onions if so desired. Spread cottage cheese over noodles; break up ground beef and spread over top. Place 1/2 cheese strips and spaghetti sauce on top and repeat with remaining cheese strips and sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes. Top will be golden brown.

An easy to make and bake lasagna that you don't have to cook the noodles first.
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. In saucepan, heat sauce and water. Combine ricotta, 2 cups mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and parsley. Season to taste.
Pour 3/4 cup sauce in 13x9 inch baking dish; arrange 3 pieces uncooked pasta over sauce (pasta will expand while cooking). Pour 1/2 cup sauce over pasta; spread with hamburger and then half cheese mixture. Cover with 1/2 cup sauce. Repeat layers.
Top with pasta and remaining sauce; sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil, bake 60 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese; let stand 10 minutes.
