Amanda is a 2 year old Black Bombay shorthair female cat. I adopted her from the Humane Society in April, 2010.
She likes to play "dead", where she follows you around then plops on the floor and stretches out for you to pet her. Likes to jump in your lap, sleeps on beds and top of couch and has a favorite chair to sleep in and will make you leave if you are sitting in "her" chair. She also likes to "fetch" like a dog. If you throw a wadded up piece of paper on the window sill she will go get it and bring it back for you to throw it again.
She is very cuddly and full of energy and like to sit by the window and watch the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks outside.

Black cats are some of the most beautiful of all the cat breeds and colors. Their eyes are always especially pretty too as well as other facial features. Amanda has everything, and I'm so glad she is treated as a family member and allowed to just be her own sweet self. I know she adds a lot to your life, and obviously, you do the same for hers.

Wow! You were lucky to find her. A Bombay at a shelter! Amazing. Could you post a frontal picture of her so everyone can see how orange her eyes are? She is just beautiful!
