Removing Cloudy Haze from Wood Furniture?

I think I ruined my dining room table. I used Trade Secret Furniture polish and cleaner and Liquid Gold cleaner trying to get the cloudy haze off of the surface. Nothing has worked. Any other suggestions?

Try using toothpaste, the paste not the gel.

Wash it down with Murphy's Oil soap, and polish it with an old washcloth, Tshirt, etc. You have a glaze of bad polish on it.

The cloudiness is usually wax that got too hot. Mineral spirits removes the cloudiness, but seek specific instructions on google.
I frequently use WD-40 because of the spirits, but test a very small spot.

I recently polished new furniture with Guardsman furniture polish. Now one piece has a haze. What can I do?
