Kill ants for good with uncooked grits! Just sprinkle the grits around where you have the ants and they eat them and die. Ants lack the ability to expel gas caused by the grits. This is the safest way to kill ants - no pesticides, safe for environment, pets, and kids.

The reason why ants can't expel gas after eating grits is that they do not have the ability to eat solid foods. It is impossible for them to eat grits, malt o meal, etc. This is a waste of food.

Grits are coarsely ground corn which are then cooked into a porridge. Here is a Wikipedia entry about them:
I have used corn-meal. I had the red ants getting into my house so after I sprinkled it around the side of my house and the bank where they lived I have had none in the last four years.
