Country Chili Sauce

Ingredients:

• 8 quarts fresh tomatoes, peeled
• 3 cups green peppers, chopped fine
• 3 cups onions, chopped fine
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup salt

• 1 1/2 quarts vinegar
• 3 tsp. cloves
• 2 tsp. ginger
• 2 tsp. nutmeg
• 3 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Combine all ingredients and simmer for 3 hours in a large kettle. Pour into sterilized jars with tight lids.
