Dry egg shells in the oven at 250 degrees F for 30 minutes. Crush the shells and add to your dog's food. You can also use them to feed birds as well. Put extra ones in the garden, they deter snails and slugs.

I'd have to ask my vet about this one. Sounds strange.
Be very careful adding additional calcium to your dog's diet. if you have a large or giant breed puppy, Do not add additional calcium! Talk to your vet or breeder about this.
It's perfectly safe to feed your dog egg shells as long as their cooked.I checked with my vetinarian and it's a great source of calcium.
