Inglis Washer Continuously Has Rust on the Tub?

I have an Inglis washer; it's 4 years old and I have had the drum replaced 3 times now because of rust around the holes in the drum. This is caused from rust on the other side of the drum which then works its way to the inside of the drum.

I have had to fight with Inglis to have this drum replaced at their expense, but I have had to pay the service call for someone to replace it. Has anyone else experienced this?

My tub now has rust again on the inside of the drum and this drum was replaced less than 10 months ago. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Do you keep the cover closed after emptying the clothes from it? If so, this may cause it to rust inside. Mama always told me to leave the cover open unless it's in use.

Thanks, have done that. Take out my laundry immediately after it finishes. Keep the door open. Have tried everything and it keeps rusting. You would think the company would replace the drum with a different kind of drum or look into why so many drums are rusting. Customer service is horrible! Thanks for your input.
