Websites For Identifying Antique Markings?

I am looking for web sites where I can find information about stamps or markings on the bottom of silver, china etc. You know those markings on the back or bottom of antique pieces. Sometimes they are in a diamond with numbers inside, sometimes they are stamped or embedded in the piece. I have a couple of items, I would like to look up and see if they are worth anything. Thanks so much.

Replacements.com is a great site to identify china, glass and silverware. Also there is a community discussion board on e-bay (many catagories to choose from) . I go to the glass china and porcelian board. It's a great place for information.

good luck
