Bayou Bourbon Glaze?

I don't know what brand would be a good substitute so I spent some time trying to find a copycat recipe for the glaze but it's definitely a guarded secret - LOL! However, here are the basic main ingredients listed for Tastefully Simple's Bayou Bourbon Glaze on their bottle:

Dark brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, onions, water, bourbon, garlic, pepper flakes, salt, molasses and lemon juice concentrate.

Do a recipe search of any Bourbon Glaze (even if the recipe says it's for a meal recipe it will give amounts and directions for the glaze) and you're bound to be able to find something that is similar.

Don't rule out pineapple juice being used instead of lemon juice concentrate because they'll do the same thing without a huge flavor difference.

Perhaps someone else here already has a Bourbon Glaze that lists similar ingredients to what you're looking for and will share it :-) Good luck and let us know what you find out, okay?
