This is a pie that I created when I worked at a country Cafe and Bar in Iowa. I really like it because it is fast and easy to make. Big hit with the locals and the farmers!
This recipe calls for only the bottom crust. Bake as directed on box for a single pie crust. Cool completely before filling.
Next empty both boxes of chocolate pudding mix into a large bowl. and 1/4 to 1/2 cup milk into mix. Stir to mix. Add one carton of Cool Whip to mix. Whip until smooth. Use 1/4 of mix on bottom of pie crust.
Now layer with one cup chocolate chips. Cover with 1/4 pudding mix.
Now layer with one cup chopped nuts. Cover with 1/4 pudding mix.
Now layer with one cup mini marshmallows. Cover with last 1/4 pudding mix.
Use entire second carton of Cool Whip on top. Refrigerate until serving time.
