Different twist on angel food cake.
Fold pie filling into prepared cake mix (according to package directions) using a large mixing bowl. Blend thoroughly.
Pour into 13x9 inch pan or angel food cake pan. Bake according to time and temperature directions on box.

I made an angel food cake from scratch (no box mix.) Then I spread a cake of cherry pie filling over the top.
I took it to our senior citizen luncheon and I brought home an empty cake plate.
Do you pour the pie filling into the dry cake mix and then pour into pan or do you fix cake by the directions then pour pie filling in?
