I am looking to decorate daughter's room in "Blues Clues". I'm on a budget in a rented home. I'm looking for cheap ideas to make the most of the space. Painting is not a factor, store bought accessories are too much for a passing faze. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I suggest getting some baby blue construction paper and cutting "clue" paws for the ceiling and walls (you can stick them up with teachers goop.) You can even find a small chair at the thrift store and cover it in red fabric with black piping to make a big red chair in her size. Finally find a small metal mailbox at the hardware store and make a mailbox along with some laminated letters you have a whole set. Finally a giant post it board from office max on sale makes a great "clue book" or some laminated poster board with giant black shower rings ($2 at walmart) and dry erase markers allow you to wash them off and reuse.
Look online or at the dollar store for some cute Blues Clues coloring pages. Either you or your child (or both) can color them. You can purchase inexpensive mats(if you want) or just frame in inexpensive frames.
The dollar store has lots of "blue" supplies. blue paper plates, blue balloons, blue napkins, blue streamers, blue table clothe maybe, but there ya go for cheap 1 dollar each.
