Rent an Ozone machine. They work wonders! Leave the house or shut the room off while the machine is running because the ozone machine can remove oxygen from the room.
Febreeze won't work except on the outside covers. The Ozone machine will get all the way into the cushions & upholstery!

How do you remove cigarette smell from a microfiber couch?

Unfortunately the tar and nicotine go right in to the microfiber and the padding. The easiest fix would be to spray Febreze on it, everywhere. You'd have to use quite a lot! Second idea is if you can get the cushions off you can wash them in cold water with a little soap and here's the magic ingredient: Coca-Cola. Yes! Coke is what the pros recommended we used to get the nasty smoke smell out of my washable things after we had a house fire. If those 2 don't work there's a surefire way to get rid of that smell.
Rent an Ozone Machine for half a day and run it at full blast in the same room as the couch with no humans near. (The ozone removes some of the oxygen, so you want to be outside or in another room.) The pros our insurance company hired to clean up after our fire brought in a big ozone machine and our huge house smelled as fresh as a summer storm after 2 days of that wonderful machine running!
