I get lots of ideas from about.com....just go to their website and put candle making in the search box..or anything else you want to know, like making natural cleaning products, soap, beading, all kinds of things. Hope this helps...Nancy

I just go to the local craft store and get some oil that have a good smell to it please do not use perfume it could really cause a fire

you add 1 0z per pound of wax. some oils take 1 1/2 oz per pound make sure you add your coloring first and maket he last thing you do before pouring is to add fragrance so it doesnt burn off. stir really well so it goes throughout the candle.you can also buy a video that teeaches you everything at www.candlecravings.com
