This soup tastes good, is healthy, easy and inexpensive to make.
In a skillet, break up and cook hamburger until it is no longer pink. Set aside.
In a large pot over medium heat, saute carrots and potatoes in oil for about 10 minutes. Add hamburger meat. Stir. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir a few times and bring to a boil. Turn down heat, cover, and simmer for 1 hour or until vegetables are done.
Serve hot with cheese on top and French bread on the side.
