Try filling a large long tube sock with old rice or beans. Stitch the open end and put velcro on to fasten them. This will double as a "bedbuddy": heat in microwave for 1 minute and apply to sore muscle, cramps, cold body.

I heard that if you make those big enough, find a way to make them hot. With no electricity place between quilts foot of bed to keep warm... off topic, but same concept.
