Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz. each)
  • 1 pkg. shredded sharp cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
  • 1 Tbsp. diced onions
  • 1 Tbsp. diced pimentos
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • dash salt
  • dash cayenne pepper
  • 1 small bag chopped pecans

Directions

Mix ingredients thoroughly (by hand). Shape into 1 or 2 balls. Cover with chopped pecans.

Yummy snack for company or just for the family!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 small jar pimento cheese spread
  • Advertisement

  • 1 small jar bacon cheese spread
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • chopped pecans

Directions:

Soften cheese. Stir all ingredients together; mix well. Shape into a ball; roll in chopped pecans. Serve with crackers.

A cheap, fast recipe for a cheese ball is to simply mix a softened block of cream cheese with the cheese flavoring packet from a box of macaroni and cheese. Be sure to blend it well, then shape into a ball. I usually let it chill overnight, and then roll it in chopped pecans before serving. You can also use the tubs of cream cheese to make a spread instead of a ball. It's very good!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. cream cheese
  • 16 oz. sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onions
  • 1 Tbsp. green pepper, olives, or pimento (opt.)

Directions

Mix cheese until soft and smooth. Add remaining ingredients. Roll into ball and in pecans or walnuts. Set in refrigerator for approximately 24 hours.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz.)
  • 1 Tbsp. seasoned garlic salt
  • 1 can shrimp pieces (5 oz.) or tiny shrimp

Directions

Combine all three ingredients in a deep bowl, making sure that they are well mixed. Form in a ball and chill for easier handling. When firm, form into a ball using your hands and roll in dried parsley flakes and chopped nuts. Serve with crackers or party rye bread.

Ingredients:

  • 2 - 8 oz. packages cream cheese
  • 1 package Hidden Valley dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1/3 cup real bacon bits

Directions:

Soften cream cheese and add dressing mix and bacon bits. Thoroughly mix. Refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight. Make ball or log of mixture. Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.

Serve with crackers.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 oz. can deviled ham
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp. minced onion
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions

Beat cheese and mayonnaise together until smooth; stir in the next 5 ingredients. Cover; chill several hours. Form into balls; roll in nuts to coat. Continue to keep chilled until ready to serve with various types of crackers.
