Cleaning Candles?

What can I use to clean dusty candles? They are very dull looking. Thanks.

I clean candles in a container of water with a little dish soap and this helps to remove any film and all dust.

You can also try rubbing them with panty hose. That is how we polish homemade candles.

Wipe them with rubbing alcohol.

First, thanks to whomever suggested dish washing liquid to cleanse dusty candles. I was able to save a very dusty teddy bear heavily flocked scented candle. Just poured a mixture of liquid hand soap and cold water over the entire candle, gently massaged entire candle, then rinsed with cold water & patted excess moisture.

Plan to re pat and continue drying process.
