Fluorescent Lights Burn Out Too Quickly?

While the ballast could be putting in too much voltage, it is more likely the lamp sockets being lose. Check that they are tight in the fixture and that the bulbs are properly seated in the sockets.

Somethings very wrong if it burns out 2-3 days
