World War II Cake (eggless)

Mix well and pour int greased tube pan and bake for about 1 hour at 350-375 degrees F.
We called this "Wacky Cake" when I was a kid. Here's a recipe:

Here is a recipe for a chocolate cake and it is very tasty and moist, as well!
No Egg Chocolate Cake
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. soda (baking)
Put your sifted flour back in the sifter, add to it the cocoa, soda, sugar, and salt, and sift this right into a greased square cake pan, about 9x9x2 inches. Now you make three grooves, or holes, in this dry mixture. Into one, pour the oil; into the next, the vinegar; into the next, the vanilla. Now pour the cold water over it all. You'll feel like you're making mud pies now, but beat it with a spoon until it's nearly smooth and you can't see the flour. Bake it at 350 degrees F for half an hour. Then frost.
This is my all-time favorite chocolate cake, easy to make, very moist and yummy even without frosting.
Lazy Woman Cake
5 tbsp. cocoa
3 c. flour
Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add vanilla, vinegar, oil, and water. Mix with a fork until moistened. Do not beat! Pour into a 13x9 pan. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
This may sound cheap but I use a can of applesauce in a cake mix that I buy at the store my husband cannot eat eggs, so I found the next best thing and it tastes great.
