This beautiful robin has adopted us for the breeding season and he and his hen have raised a brood just yards from our back door.
We have robins in the garden every winter, and some become tame enough to eat from a dish in my wife's hand. The juveniles are particularly bold, so we are expecting to see a few shortly.

I love feeding our wild birds. We have several pairs
of cardinals this year, but of course, we'd never
get them to eat from our hand-held bowls. They
are very skittish, but so beautiful to see. We do
maintain a birdfeeder and water for them and
have been treated to seeing one splashing in his morning "bath". They are very early risers, and
Your robins are so sweet and much less flighty, so enjoy them. We must be on their migratory path
from winter home back to summer home for we
see very few robins. Perhaps it's the congestion
of a city. I know we see hundreds more when we're
in north Florida
Thanks for sharing the nice photos.
