Cleaning a Marble Floor?

I'm new to the cleaning field and don't have a lot of money for supplies. What should I use to mop a marble kitchen floor with? I used a baking soda and water soultion and it left a film I'd never thought I'd get rid of.

Don't use vinegar or any acid on marble! It could ruin the surface. I have seen biodegradable dish soap and warm water suggested on other sites.

Use a cleaner designed for marble. Using the wrong kind can etch or leave a film on your marble tile. And yes it can be expensive to restore.
