How Can I Reapply a Peeling Letter on an Athletic Shirt?

We managed to get a normally very expensive football shirt a lot cheaper because it had a slight defect as one of the letters is peeling off. Does anyone have any tips for reapplying?

Fabric glue can be bought anywhere and works.

I agree about the fabric glue. Make sure you get the washable or dry cleanable kind (depends on how the shirt is cared for.) You could also try hot glue is very small amounts - that might work.

There is a product called Stich Witchery. Place a bit of it between the shirt and the letter, and apply reasonably hot iron. Lasts through washings, etc.

What I like to do is use some baking sheets put it over the peeling area and iron it on a low heat but don't iron it for too long or you could mess up the fabric like 5 seconds is good. Also make sure not to have the iron come direct contact with the iron cause material like polyester might melt and become hard
