I would like more information on the Chocolate Watergate cake. What is the chocolate syrup for and how long does the cake need to cook?

The archived recipe here sounds like a years old version of a recipe for Pistachio Cake (Maybe that's what it was called back then), and this one tells you what to do with the syrup. It's like a marble cake.
1 Pkg Yellow Cake Mix
4 eggs
1 cup orange juice
1/3 cup veg. oil
1 pkg. Instant pistachio pudding mix
1/2 cup Hershey's syrup
Blend cake mix, eggs, OJ, oil and pudding. Beat one minute on low to blend, then 3 minutes on high.
Pour 2/3 of the batter into a greased and floured bundt pan. Add the chocolate syrup to the remainder of batter, blend well and gently pour on tip of the other batter; marble the mixture as for marble cake.
Bake at 350 for one hour, or until springs back when touched. Cool 10-15 minutes in pan before removing.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, water, orange juice and oil. Beat on medium speed of an electric mixer for 2 minutes or until mixture is smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Grease a 12 cup Bundt pan (or tube pan) generously with shortening. Dust with flour and shake out excess.
