Store Utensils In Jars at Buffet

We needed a thrifty cute way to hold plastic silverware on a buffet line for a 50th wedding anniversary party. This party was a casual summer time lunch buffet with sandwiches, pickles, olives, chips, and dips, etc. So we came up with cleaning out the different pickle and olive jars and trying some twine on them with a utensil showing what is inside on the outside. We took extra silverware with us to replenish as needed.

We've been usng really heavy glasse to hold plastic
flatware, but this a good alternative idea,
Thank you.

That is about as casual as it gets. Since it's a special occasion, why not use something a little nicer?

I have posted a picture of the buffet line & I think they fit in just fine. This party was way out in the country in a little country church fellowship hall. Thanks for the input~

I love your idea. The table and room setup looks absolutely great and I know everyone had a good time. That's what really counts.
