Some inexpensive ways are to have large containers of water (preferably black containers) that will heat up during the day, in the sun, then radiate some heat when the sun is down. A stone or brick wall in direct sunlight will also absorb heat and radiate it back, even more so if it is painted black.
If you are talking about photo-voltaic panels, you will need some sort of battery; and hopefully someone here can help you. Maybe recycled auto batteries?
