Melt-Away Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 lb. butter, softened
• 1 cup oil
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 4 1/4 cups flour
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1 Tbsp. + 1 scant tsp. cream of tartar

• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 2 cups chocolate chips

Directions

Cream butter, oil and sugars well; then add rest of the ingredients. Drop by teaspoonsful on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes.
