This is a great, hearty, filling recipe. I think it's a great cold weather meal.

Ingredients:

Layer1:

  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Advertisement

  • pizza sauce

Layer 2:

  • 2 lb. hamburger, browned
  • 1-2 tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup onions, chopped (optional)
  • 1/4 cup peppers, chopped (optional)

Layer 3:

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup salad dressing (Miracle Whip)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Directions:

Mix Bisquick and water. Spread in greased 9x13 inch pan. Top with desired amount of pizza sauce - we like quite a bit, so I use a whole small jar (not can) or most of a regular size jar (our favorite is Ragu). Add browned hamburger and vegetables.

Mix sour cream and salad dressing. Spread over hamburger. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 375 degrees F for 1 hour.

Servings: 9-12
Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 60 Minutes
