This may sound strange to some but this cream cheese blend tastes pretty good on a plain bagel too.
Mix the cream cheese, olives, and salt in a bowl and add tabasco to taste a few drops at a time.
Spread filling into the inside of each celery piece; cover and refrigerate for about an hour to allow flavors to blend.

Oh, Deeli, how I would love to have a couple of days to pore over your recipe books/file! You have not posted anything that doesn't make me want to get in the kitchen and start cooking/fixing.
Jsham, I have told her essentially the same thing. This sounds so good for the holidays!
Deeli, we would like the stuffed celery just as you've written it, but our favorite is cream cheese and the chopped olives on slices of date-nut bread. The wonderful old Wolfie's Deli Restaurants spoiled me with that combination, and it's a shame that other restaurants haven't caught onto their "perfect wisdom". LOL.
We like celery with almost anything stuffed in it. Cream cheese with chopped pecans, peanut butter,
pimento cheese, so this recipe will definitely be included in my book.
Thank you Deeli.
