We rescued and named our two very young puppies, Little LuLu (Lab mix) and Mini MiMi (Terrier mix) within two different litters from a local animal shelter that day. They were the same small-sized balls of joy at about 7 lbs each.
That was two years ago and now they are rambunctious and healthy sizes of their own with long-legged LuLu at 45 lbs and short MiMi at a compact muscular weight of 30 lbs. MiMi can walk underneath LuLu so she does; under and around LuLu, under and around LuLu goes MiMi.
They are close sisters as if they had come from the same litter. It was quite an accomplishment the other day to get these two to sit quietly long enough for us to take these photos of them at our Christmas tree. Happy Holidays 2010 and Happy 2011 to all!
