I recently made an Angry Birds cake for my son's 10th birthday. I made all of the decorations out of fondant. In total it took me about 10 hours to complete it. I sculpted each piece by hand. I couldn't find any directions so I was only able to use a photo of the characters. I think it turned out well and my son loved it!

Love your cake...a true artist. I've tried to work with fondant but have trouble rolling it. Is there some tip or secret that would help me? I've bought the box of fondant at the craft stores but it was so hard and zapping it in the micro according to directions didn't help.

I've heard of 'angry birds', but don't really know what they are - a cartoon? Guess my kids are too old & grandkids too young. Anyway, this is still awesome!
