Potato Doughnuts

• 3 ordinary potatoes (mashed)
• 2 cups sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 tsp. butter
• 1 cup sweet milk
• 5 cups flour
• 5 tsp. baking powder
• 1-4 tsp. spice

Directions:

Mix the above in order. Roll, cut and fry in deep fat.
