Does anyone know the equivalent measurement for how many cups of chicken meat you can get from stewing/poaching an average size (3 to 4 lb.) chicken?

You can approximate getting about 1 cup of meat per pound of whole chicken, over 3 pounds.
This is just what I want to know. I'm trying to shortcut a recipe using cooked chicken and chicken broth to eliminate cooking a whole hen and getting the meat and broth.
