Having to test my sugar daily leaves me with these wonderful little tubes that seal down really well. They are smaller than old film tubes, so you can't put quarters in them. But, you can put dimes and nickles in them for parking meters and such.
Simply peel off the sticker and replace it with your own, or gel pen the contents on the lid. You can also fit in matches, rings if you are at the pool, paper clips, thumb tacks, nails and glue, and the hits just keep on coming!
Hope this helps.

I take oral medication for my diabetes, so I keep one of the test strip bottles in my purse with as many pills as I can fit in it, so that if I happen to be out when it's time for my next dose, I have it with me.
I've saved about 100 of these things! They are airtight and very insulated. I knew they could be used for something, any more ideas? I don't go through a lot of toll booths. Thinking I could glue a bunch of them side to side to form a square or rectangle and gift as a crafter box for beads and the like for my nieces who make jewelry.
That is a cool idea! Yes, they are amazing, better I think than film tubes which you pretty much can't get anymore.
So, here goes:
Matches for camping, money we already know, beads like you said, buttons, sequins, paperclips, thumb tacks, washers, screws, nails, medicine properly labeled, jewelry (perhaps that necklace chain or ring you need to get fixed), cotton balls, antacids, breath mints, and just about anything you need to keep safe, dry and sanitary.
There's got to be some benefits from Diabetes, right? Why not look at the plus side, I always say.

If you or anyone you know eats M&M Minis, quarters do fit in those tubes. Very handy for things like laundromat etc, places you need quarters but don't want to take out your wallet or whatever.
