I have potato plants with tomatoes growing from one stem on each plant. Each stem with five or six marble size green tomatoes on each plant. Have you ever seen this before?

My potatoes haven't done this, but those are the fruits of the potato plant. Sometimes potatoes will set fruit after flowering. Potatoes and tomatoes are in the same family so they look a lot alike! I've heard you can save the seeds for planting but I don't know much about it.
Potato fruits should never be eaten though as they contain high levels of toxins.
That is happening becouse tomatoes and potatoes are related. They are both part of the nightshade family. At one time people thought potatoes were poison. But they are not. The fruit from the flower is toxic itself. Don't eat them. Just eat the potatoes under the ground when there mature.
