Transmission Fluid on Fabric?

I'm having the same problem... I have washed the jeans three times already, and the stain is not visible, but the smell is ever-present. I cannot find any posts on how to get it out...(I even FEBREZED it!)
I think I am going to resort to soaking the offending material in a strong solution of DAWN detergent and warm water for a day, then try to wash as usual.
