A great, healthy snack!

Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup honey or syrup
  • Advertisement

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. grated orange peel
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup dates, diced
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots, diced
  • 1/4 cup banana chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Combine oats, almonds, and wheat germ in large bowl; set aside. Combine oil and orange peel in small bowl. Pour over oats mixture, tossing to coat. Spread mixture into jellyroll pan and bake 25-30 minutes, until golden brown. Cool in pans. Stir in dried fruit and store in airtight containers.
