I too wondered about that and did research on the 'net to learn the answer. Yes. A female can have two different mates producing two different litters. The different litters will take on characteristics of their ma and pa (sire/dame) It is still considered a mixed breed of pups. The time frame for this to happen must be w/i close range of each mating as it takes a set amount of days for birthing, anything past that time frame can mean loss of pups as they won't be mature enough to make it.
Absolutely! Happens in cats more often. Every kitten or puppy can have a different father. Especially if they mate on the same day with different fathers.
This is true. It can even happen in humans with twins. Very rare but I've seen it on two different TV shows.
