Finches Are Having Feathers Pulled Out?

I have 4 finches (2 pair) in a cage together. Two of them are getting their feathers pulled out. Does anyone know what causes this?

The two who are picking the feathers of each other do not need to be together, as they are incompatible. You should try and seperate the birds in to two cages and see if they get along in pairs.I l love finches for their energy and singing and happy personalities....

Here is a good site: www.animaladventurepets.com/zebrafinch.htm
Hope they start to get along....the feathers will grow back once they are seperated.
