Thoroughly rub outside crust of bread with two slightly crushed cloves of garlic. Split loaf in half length-wise and place each half, crust down, on cookie sheet. Put remaining 2 cloves garlic through garlic press and combine with melted butter. Brush over cut surfaces. Mix remaining ingredients; sprinkle over buttered surface. Cut in 2 inch bias slices. Heat on baking sheet at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes.

Sounds great, Robin! I've never tried the parsley and paprika on mine but I'll do it next time. Also I use extra virgin olive oil instead of butter and lightly brown the crushed garlic in it, then brush it on the cut sides of the bread.

Don't know how much Parmesan cheese I use, I just keep grating a fresh chunk until I have a pretty large pile. Anyway with butter or oil this stuff is great with a good salad and/or tomato-based pasta dish.
