Fractionalize is to divide something.
Distillation - a process of separating, concentrating or purifying a liquid by boiling it and then condensing the resulting vapor.
Fractional Distillation - separating components that have different boiling points from a volatile liquid by first heating the liquid and then condensing and collecting the components as they vaporize.
