Liquid Sand Paper?

Does liquid sand paper work, or is there something better than liquid sand paper?

What is liquid sand paper? Since you've had no responses is a couple of days, I'm assuming that no one else knows what it is either! Maybe we could help if you explain. :)

Editor's Note: I think this is it: www.plasti-kote.com/.../a&product=LiquidSandpaper

I used liquid sandpaper on a lacquered table top. After it dried (20 minutes), I applied an acrylic latex enamel. However, as the enamel dried, it shrunk across the surface, creating a bubbly, distorted effect.

Does anyone know what I was doing wrong or have suggestions on how I can repair this damage?

Maybe you were supposed to clean the liquid sandpaper off before you applied the paint. I would try it again except this time, clean the surface thoroughly before you apply your enamels.
