Peach-Tuna Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 can cling peach halves (1lb.)
  • 2 packages. cream of mushroom sauce mix (each making 1 cup)
  • 2 cans tuna, drained
  • 1 package frozen peas, thawed
  • Advertisement

  • 1 can French fried onions (small can)

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Drain peaches and reserve liquid. Prepare sauce mixes according to package directions, using peach liquid plus enough water to make 2 cups. Break tuna into chunks and combine with the mushroom sauce, peas and 1/2 cup of the onions. Pour into a 1 1/2 qt. casserole. Arrange peach halves on top of casserole. Bake 25 minutes or until bubbles. Sprinkle remainder of onion rings around edge of casserole. Bake 4-5 minutes longer, or until onions are brown.
