Eat Fruit Instead of Sweets for Weight Loss

Quit eating sweets; no ice cream, cake, pie, cookies, candy, soda, cream sauces. Fruits are great sources of sweetness and full of vitamins that are good for the skin, eyes and body without the empty calories.

The world is full of fat people and getting fatter by the day. It takes time, but learn to be in touch with your muscles. Make the efforts to stretch, work out, and do work that keep your muscles strong and toned. It feels good and empowering to know that when your muscles are burning a bit by hiking uphill, that they're telling you you're toning up and need more of it.

In older years, staying really fit like keeping muscle tone, dexterity and agility that comes from activity will make a huge difference in your quality of life, and helps to prevent osteoporosis. I didn't mention yet that your lovehandles will be long gone.

One month ago, I decided to cut out all the added sugar from my diet hoping to ease my migraine headaches. It wasn't hard because I'm not "extreme"; meaning I don't check labels. I just don't eat straight sweets and obvious sugar loaded foods. I sure didn't expect it, but so far I've lost 8 lbs(and I wasn't too overweight to begin with)!

I've also found that fruit is much sweeter than I ever realized. Compared to a candy bar, fruit is not so sweet, but when you quit eating candy, fruit becomes such a wonderful treat! I'm enjoying my new found love for fruit :)

Everything in moderation.

Even if you're diabetic, as long as you regulate your food intake, that you need to completely deny yourself the sweets you mention as long as they are in moderation. Fruits also have sugar content (although it is a healthier sugar) but over eating fruits can also put on the pounds and fruits like bananas, raisins, prunes and avocadoes (yes, that's a fruit) are extra high in fat and/or sugar.

It's not simply sweets that have caused people to become so overweight these days it's also not eating an overall healthy and balanced diet in general. Plus, as you mentioned, people need to keep in touch with their body and so many have become way too lazy physically. That also causes the pounds to go on even with proper food intake because calories aren't being burned off.

Please don't think I am beating you up because I am giving you a thumbs up for making people think ;-)
