Could be what I call 'Rooting' rubbing their noses on the carpet, dirt, floor ect.. Use 'Bag Balm' on their noses and it will go away. We have to use it on our 'Rooting' dogs :)

Depends on what you mean by "crusty". It could be that they have a cold.
