Cook By The Seasons

Always cook with the seasons and sales. It's the law of supply and demand. If a grocery item is on sale, the quality will be high, and the price low.

For example: asparagus in the spring, corn and watermelon in the summer, apples and squash in the fall. Buy out of season and pay much higher prices for lesser quality .
