Use Curtains for Canopy Beds

Instead of buying those expensive drapes made specifically for canopy beds, why not try curtains. Curtains are less expensive if you buy them at the right store. Just make sure the curtain's rod length fits the canopy's frame rods. It is easy and cheap!

My kids (8 & 5) share a room so we bought them loft beds (like in college) so they would have more play space. The space under their beds has a desk and chair so to make their own areas special I bought cloth shower curtains in each of their favorite colors. I used shower curtain rings on the top bar. Now they have their own "rooms" and can open them to make more play space.

I used a bed skirt. It matches the sheets and comforter.
