Put an asterisk * in front of any of your Bookmarks categories that you'd like to show at the top of your bookmarks list. Since the categories are listed alphabetically, this is helpful when you have a category that would usually require you to scroll far down your list.

I would add to that-
you can set up folders to catagorize your bookmarks so it is easier to find them instead of a loooong list of bookmarks.

I tried this and it comes up and says I can't use an asterick, among others, in name, any suggestions from anyone?

I just tried it on my browser and it worked fine for me. I am using Firefox.
You can drag and drop your bookmarks to be in the order you want them to be.
