How do I clean black Sharpie marker off a plasma TV screen?

I would contact the customer service division of the TV's manufacturer and ask them what they recommend. A plasma screen TV is too big of an investment to "experiment" on. I'm a true fan of these high picture quality sets and feel your pain!

If your TV has a glass screen as most plasma TV's do, you can clean the marks off with alcohol. If it has a soft plastic screen then you need to contact the manufacturer and see if you can clean it with anything other than a damp cloth.

You may end up having to have the screen replaced if it is plastic. Most LCD/LED screens are plastic and using any solution other than what the maker recommends will void your warranty.

Rub a cotton ball with some nailpolish remover on the marker. (Test in an inconspicuous spot first.) Follow up with window cleaner if necessary.
