This is my Mom and Dad. It was taken on a warm spring afternoon in 2009, about 4 months before Mom passed away from lung cancer. She passed away 2 weeks before their 40th wedding anniversary.

I feel your loss. I lost my own mother to lung/brain cancer in 2006. You might consider finding a way to preserve this precious photo.
What a sweet photo! I no longer have my parents and my only regret is not having photos of the two together. I just always saw them together and never really thought about it.
Thank you all. I miss my Mom so much; sometimes I don't think I will ever get over, or even understand why, her death. She was my best friend. Every single day, I pick up the phone to tell her something or I think "Oh! I have to share that with Mom!", then I realize I can't and the pain starts all over again.
